Off-grid hybrid solar inverter power generation systems are widely used in remote mountainous areas, non-electric areas, islands, communication base stations and other applications. The system generally consists of a photovoltaic array composed of solar pv panel cells, a mppt solar charge and discharge controller, a battery pack, an off-grid inverter, a DC load, and an AC load. The photovoltaic array converts solar energy into electric energy in the presence of light, supplies power to the load through the solar charge and discharge controller, and simultaneously charges the battery pack; when there is no light, the battery pack supplies power to the DC load through the solar charge and discharge controller. At the same time, the battery should directly supply power to the independent inverter, and inverter into AC power through the independent inverter to supply power to the AC load. Grid-connected solar PV system consists of PV modules, grid-connected inverter, metering devices and distribution system components. The solar energy is converted into DC current by PV modules and then feeding into the local power.
What is the difference between off grid hybrid solar inverter and on grid solar inverter?
The most difference of them is: off grid hybrid solar inverter supply the load and use the solar battery to storage the sun power, on grid solar inverter feed the power to the local grid. The application area: off grid hybrid is individual used in the place where the grid power is poor and other resource is limited, sun power is rich for use. On grid hybrid solar inverter is need to connect to the grid, can serve the power locally. The working philosophy is totally different:1. off grid solar inverter get the electric power from the solar panel, via DC to AC to supply the load, via AC-DC to storage the power to the battery. When no solar, then the battery can supply the load, to realize saving the electric power for the users. The whole system, mppt solar charger controller will be very important, it charge the battery, track the peak power of solar panel. On grid solar inverter, the inverter get the power from the solar panel, then directly supply the power to the grid. If no solar, then the whole system can not used.
